How does a laser treatment?

The laser pulses of a specific wavelength range to penetrate the upper layers of the skin and unfold their effect only in the hair root. They are absorbed by the melanin (pigment dye) of the hair follicle. The heat is accumulated in the hair root and destroys the follicle with heat. The environment is hardly damaged. The surrounding tissue is preserved and prevented hair growth here for a long time.

How often should one be held laser treatments?

The human hair growth is not continuous, uniform process, but rather occurs in recurrent cycles. The hair cycle starts with a followed by a catagen telogen phase, then comes the anagen phase. Usually, only the hair is removed permanently located at the time of laser treatments in the anagen phase. Therefore, a series of treatments is necessary to achieve the best results.

What should be observed before and after treatment?

The best results are obtained on non-tanned skin, so several weeks before the treatment, no direct sunlight and no tanning.
Before the laser treatment the hair should not be plucked several weeks or epilation.
To avoid the pigmentation (hypo-or hyperpigmentation) of the skin after treatment, should direct sunlight and tanning beds for at least 3 weeks should be avoided. If this is unavoidable, the treated area is covered by a sunscreen with high sun protection factor.
