Phlebology, angiology and Lymphology deals with the diseases of the vascular system, especially in the leg. Because of the upright posture of humans these veins are subjected to particular strain. Therefore come here often severe changes in the course of life (varicose veins, poor circulation) on. This may be disturbances in the transport of blood in the legs from the heart (Angiology), disorders of the removal of blood from the legs to the heart (phlebology) or disorders of the removal of the resulting tissue fluid (Lymphology).
